Vision Airlines is a US DOT certified FAR Part 121/135 Air Carrier. With a dedication to safety and customer service, the company quickly grew to more than 16 Piper Chieftains by 1998.
In April 2008 with safety as a core value, Vision Airlines received FAR Part 121 Certification to operate the newest, most reliable commercial aircraft. In March 2009, Boeing 737 aircraft were added to the fleet to meet the growing demands of Vision's customers.
The US DOT completed a financial fitness review of Vision Airlines in 2009 and approved the company's application for Large Commercial Domestic Scheduled Service Authority, a compliment to Vision's existing Commuter Authority.
Today, Vision operates seventeen (17) aircraft, including a fleet of Boeing 767s, Boeing 737s, Dornier 328s and Dornier 228s.
Vision Airlines operates on-demand, charter, shuttle and scheduled service operations. The diverse mix of aircraft allows Vision to provide a customized solution to many of the world's most demanding organizations. Vision's clients include US Presidential candidates, heads of state, and countless celebrities and Fortune 500 companies.
Vision Airlines is one of the largest operators of Dornier aircraft in the US. The company operates as many as 50 flights per day during the peak season between Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon.
Vision Airlines is currently registered with the Pentagon for PPR field operations. Vision has facility clearance and has provided service in other sensitive operations with both large commercial and regional aircraft for over six years.
Vision Airlines has provided regularly scheduled charter operations for MGM Mirage's Gulfport and Tunica, Mississippi casinos. The service operates between three and seven flights daily and has experienced an on-time reliability factor of 99% for the past six months. In September of 2009, Vision Airlines initiated regularly scheduled flights to Gulfport, Mississippi from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on a Boeing 737 aircraft.
Similar on-time and operational performance has been provided to Vision's multiple charter clients in service to Cuba from Miami and New York's JFK Airport.
