Facts (Overview)
C9 has been a Partner of Lufthansa since 2000 and became a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in 2005. This allows Cirrus Airlines to offer more destinations, more transfer options and the best connections to onward flights. Cirrus Airlines flies to both German Star Alliance hubs Frankfurt and Munich due to its partnership to Lufthansa and has a Codeshare Agreement with Swiss International Air Lines for its Zurich flights, resulting in an overall tightly knit network. Additionally, all passengers can participate in the Lufthansa Miles & More programme and collect award and status miles for all C9 flights. Business Class passengers also have access to Lufthansa lounges worldwide.
Cirrus Airlines' domestic destinations include the financial hub Frankfurt/Main, the state capitals Munich, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Dresden, Germany's capital Berlin, and the cities Hof, Erfurt, Mannheim and Münster/Osnabrück. International destinations include Chisinau in Moldavia as well as Zurich, Berne and Salzburg.
Today, Cirrus Airlines is one of the most renowned airlines in Germany. The airline with the Code “C9” has established itself as a successful and independent quality company with an extensive network. Cirrus Airlines carried more than 400.000 passengers in 2010.
