Facts (Overview)
Germanwings operates low-cost flights, with its focus away from the major Lufthansa hubs of Frankfurt and Munich. Its major operating bases are located in Cologne, Stuttgart Berlin-Schönefeld, Hannover and Dortmund. It has a network of over eighty-five destinations in Europe & north Africa for the present summer season, which are a mix of city markets and sunshine routes, with a strong presence in southern Europe. For the Summer season 2012 Germanwings has launched 10 new destinations to BRE/BRU/LHR/BIO/RJK/TUN/NBE/NDR/CMN/TNG.
