Sun Country Airlines is a privately held low-cost carrier based in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul, with more than 35 years of experience and a reputation for offering world-class service at an affordable price.   Sun Country offers scheduled passenger service on more than 85 routes to more than 50 popular destinations in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean, many of which are served seasonally to match peak leisure travel demand.  The airline also provides charter service, ranging from full-plane track programs for resorts and tour operators, to ad-hoc trips across the world.  The company has regulatory authority to fly almost anywhere in the world with a nonstop range of 2,600 nautical miles and is the largest provider of narrow-body aircraft military charters in the United States.

 

In 2019, Sun Country added 33 nonstop routes and fourteen new cities to its network.  In addition to new routes, the aircraft exteriors feature a new modern design and the interiors have state-of-the art seats.  Complimentary inflight entertainment, consisting of movies, TV shows, and music, is also available through a secure onboard wireless streaming system and non-alcoholic beverages are also complimentary.

 

Sun Country operates a growing fleet of 737-800 aircraft configured with 186 seats, offering full-size tray tables, comfortable recline, and in-seat power in most seats.  Sun Country offers three different seat categories: Best, Exit Row, and Standard, with extra legroom and recline and a complimentary alcoholic beverage provided in the Best category.
