Tatarstan Airlines

(Tatarstan aviakompania/Tatarstan hava kompaniase) Aircompany Tatarstan is the national air carrier of the Republic of Tatarstan. The airline established in 1999 operates the scheduled passenger service to the different cities of Russia (Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Makhachkala), CIS (Baku, Dushanbe, Yerevan, Tashkent, Khujand), Asia (Istanbul) and Europe (Prague, Tel-Aviv). The total operated destinations of Aircompany Tatarstan reached 40 routes in 2010-2011. The number of carried passengers in 2009 amounts to 577 thousand people, in 2010 – 603 thousand people. The estimated number of passengers in 2011 is 824 thousand people. The base airport of Aircompany Tatarstan is the International Kazan Airport, the hub airports are Begishevo Airport (Nizhnekamsk) and Domodedovo Airport (Moscow). Aircraft fleet of the airline consists of 12 aircrafts including home-produced and foreign-made aircrafts: Tu-154, Yak-42, Tu-134, Boeing 737-300, Boeing 737-400, and Boeing 737-500.
