Turkish Airlines is the national carrier of Turkey. Its main base is Ataturk International Airport (IST), with secondary hubs at Esenboga International Airport (ESB), Ankara and Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW). Turkish, operates a network of scheduled services to 145 international and 41 domestic cities, serving a total of 186 airports in Europe, Asia, Africa and America as of September 2011. Turkish Airlines an official member of Star Alliance since 2006. Turkish Airlines has been named as the "Best Airline Europe ", also winner of the categories, “Best Premium Economy Seats” and “Best Airline Southern Europe” by Skytrax cccording to the results of the evaluation 2011.
