Xiamen Airlines

Xiamen Airline (Xiamen Air for short) was founded on Jul, 25th, 1984, which is the first joint-stock local company in China. Now the share-holders are China South Airline Co. Ltd.(60% in stock shares) and Xiamen Construction & development Co. Ltd (40% in stock share). With initial investment of RMB 20 million, from 1987 to 2007, the company keeps making profit for 20 years.

Xiamen Air is mainly dealing with domestic air passengers' and freight transportation and acting as a business agent in air transportation from Fujian province to other neighbor countries or regions. It owns 45 Boeing, which includes 8 B-757, 18 B-737, 19 B-738the total seats are 7195. Based on Xiamen, Fuzhou, Tianjin,Hangzhou,Jinjiang, Wuyi mountain, it's dealing with nearly 200 routes reaching Beijing, Shanghai, Canton, Hongkong, Macau and other large-scale or middle-sized cities. Till 2008, Xiamen Air also operates several schedule international and regional service from Mainland China to Hongkong,Macau,Osaka,Seoul ,Kuala lumpur and Singapore.
