TAROM Romanian Air Transport

TAROM, the national flag carrier of Romania, was founded in 1954 and has grown along with the Romanian aviation itself.

Quality of service and professionalism are the principles that have guided TAROM since the founding of the airline over half a century ago.

With its home base in Bucharest –Henri Coanda International Airport -TAROM operates approximately 95 daily domestic and international scheduled flights to 35 destinations in 21 countries, in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. In cooperation with code-share partner airlines TAROM serves 58 destinations worldwide.

Flexible and dynamic, TAROM’s marketing strategy focuses on the consolidation of its existing markets and on attracting new markets.

On June 25th, 2010, TAROM joined SkyTeam, the second biggest world alliance providing its customers  with an extensive global network with more destinations, more frequencies and more connections.
