Parma Milan Airport is located strategically in the centre of Northern Italy.

It is in the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Milan Airport system as Milan’s 4th Airport (Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate, Milan Bergamo and Parma Milan).

The airport is located in an area with high population density and one of Europe’s wealthiest catchment profiles. 2.7 million people live in the core catchment area (30-45 minutes drive) and 8.9 million people live in the secondary catchment within a 75 minute drive.

The airport is located 4 kilometers from the A1 motorway and 4 km by airport bus to Parma Railway station which is on the main railway line through northern Italy.

The airport’s central location in northern Italy facilitates convenient access to important cities of Milan, Bologna and Verona among others which can be reached by road and rail.  It is in a convenient location for leisure travel facilitating onward trips throughout northern Italy including the Ligurian sea, Genoa, Lake Garda and Verona among others.
