AIA's pax traffic development

During September, the airport’s passengers reached 1.86 million, corresponding to an increase of 14.7% compared to prior-year levels. Both domestic and international passengers grew at a similar pace of 15.2% and 14.4%, respectively. Foreign visitors enjoyed a rise of 25%, whereas Greek travellers demonstrated a decline of 5%, due to their lower demand for international trips.

 Overall, during the period January-September, the airport’s traffic reached 14.1 million passengers, surpassing prior-year levels by 21%, with domestic travellers increasing by 24.6% and international passengers by 19.2%. Greek travellers demonstrated a rise of 12%, while foreign visitors grew by 28%.
