The airport is a rare kind of communal space. It brings

backgrounds and distant origins together. For the
briefest of times, they cross paths, strangers in a
strange place, and their stories get intertwined -and
they inevitably change.
The airport, beyond its original function, is essentially
a hub of human stories. Look anywhere: Travellers
eager to depart, lovers delighted to reunite, families
on holiday, tired business men and women, immigrants
returning home, or ready to seek out a new life
elsewhere. Their stories are different and unique. Each
traveler has drives, a purpose, goals, and an abundance
of feelings that are more alert and on display in an
airport than almost anywhere else. They are all unique
human beings, and their stories are fundamentally
different. But their humanity is common.
This is a story about coincidence and serendipity,
about people who find their destinies intertwined in
inexplicable and unexpected ways. This is not a rare or
unusual occurrence in our world. It happens all the time.
