Continued growth at Athens International Airport in September

With a robust rise of 7.8%, Athens International Airport’s passenger traffic reached 2.3 million during September 2017. Both domestic and international markets enjoyed growth, by 4% and 9.8%, respectively.

On a year-to-date basis, the airport’s passenger traffic reached 16.8 million, exceeding prior-year levels by 8.1%, attributed to the sharp increase of the international sector by 11.5%, while the domestic market rose by 1.9%.
