Foreign business travelers to get express visa to Denmark
A new Danish visa arrangement grants rights to Danish embassies and consulate generals to pre-approve companies.
This also applies for Danish companies who want to invite foreign business partners to Denmark. People associated with these pre-approved companies will be able to obtain a Danish visa in only three days with the new agreement called Red Carpet.
The change in visa procedure is a result of a more global mindset and a wish to be an attractive country for foreign business partners, according to a press release from the Danish Ministry of Trade.
Other benefits with the visa arrangement are a reduced demand for documentation and cancellation of the demand for personal appearance.
