Curacao-Hato International Airport

Curacao International airport is strategically located between North and South America, about 40 miles north of Venezuela. The Airport, located only a few minutes from the capital Willemstad, functions as an important and attractive passenger/cargo hub for the Southern Caribbean region. The island’s/airport’s location offers strategic convenience for transshipment/storage of goods and fuel supply and transit services for trans-Atlantic flights to and from the Caribbean and Latin American market. The new airport terminal is operational since July 1, 2006. It is based on an initial capacity of 1.8 Million passengers per year, expandable to 2.5 Million passengers per year.
