Festive opening Arrivals Hall Curaçao International Airport.

The new Arrivals Hall at Curaçao International Airport has been inaugurated Thursday September 8th 2016.

The new Arrivals Hall at Curaçao International Airport has been inaugurated Thursday September 8th 2016 and became operational on Monday September 12th 2016. The ensuing weeks follows the soft-launch period, during which Curaçao Airport Partners (CAP) will monitor and analyze the process and experience of both the passengers as well as the airport-users.

The introduction of this improved Arrivals Hall is another tremendous milestone within the Airport Expansion Project, through which CAP aims to offer both the passenger and the airport user an enhanced, pleasant and unique airport experience. As of Monday morning, with the first passenger passing through, the soft-launch period starts, during which the experience in the area will be analyzed, in collaboration with the governmental companies and airport users.

Festive opening of Arrivals Hall
CAP hosted the airport community, dignitaries, governmental and aviation partners, press and other guests during a festive celebration in the beautifully decorated hall, with speeches by Minister Rhuggenaath of Economic Development, CAP CEO Ralph Blanchard, CAH Director Junny Ignacio and Head of Customs Jules Ilario. After the official part, the evening continued with a tremendous entertainment by local Curaçao musicians traveling the world; Randal Corson (band leader) with Pernell Saturnino, Eric Calmes, Jean-Jacques Rojer and globetrotting soul-diva Shirma Rouse.
