Dublin-Cornwall Service Extended To Year Round

Aer Lingus Regional has announced that its service between Dublin and Newquay in Cornwall is being extended to all year round.

The route began last year as a summer-only service and recommenced just over a month ago for an extended season and increased frequency.

However operator Stobart Air has said that, due to high demand, the service is now being extended to year round.

“Demand on this route has gone from strength to strength in a very short period so it makes sense to extend this to a year-round service,” said Stobart’s Martin Saxton.

“The demand comes in almost equal measure from Cornish travellers coming in to Dublin and Dubliners wanting to visit this stunning region. This gives us added confidence that the route will continue to thrive on both sides of the Irish Sea.”

Al Titterington, managing director of Cornwall Airport Newquay, said: “Building on what is already a successful summer route and offering our customers the opportunity to travel between Cornwall and Dublin throughout the year is good news for both destinations.”
