Hamburg is one of the most dynamically developing regions in Europe and a very important transportation hub. This city, located in Northern Germany, is not only a large industrial centre and the largest port in Germany, but it was named "European Green Capital" in 2011. In Hamburg you will find numerous monuments, various theatres, beaches on the Elbe, green banks of the Alster and many other attractions.

Hamburg Airport is situated only 8.5 kilometres north-west of the city centre. It is the oldest and one of the largest airports in Germany, used by more than 13 million passengers a year. You can quickly travel from the airport to the city centre as well as many other cities in the region, such as Kiel, Lübeck or Neumünster.  From Hamburg, it is also possible to fly, among others, to the USA, Iceland, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, the United Arab Emirates or Iran.
