Naples Airport (NAP) is the leading airport in Southern Italy and handled 5.8 million passengers in 2011, 3.1 M thereof domestic ,and 2.2 M international scheduled. Scheduled routes connect Naples with the main hubs and most of the major cities throughout Europe, and seasonally with New York City too.
NAP catchment area includes Campania, Italy’s most densely populated Region, as well as a total of about 6 million people within 2,5 hours drive to the airport. The main Tourism attractions close to NAP are Ischia, Capri, Sorrento Coast, Amalfi, Pompeii.
NAP is constantly developing and has now a brand new infrastructure, located only 7 km from the city center, aimed at minimizing turnarounds and offering very modern facilities.
