Norwegian Signs First Ever U.S Charter Agreement
Norwegian Air Shuttle has signed charter agreements with US firms Apple Vacations http://www.applevacations.com and Funjet Vacations http://www.funjet.com covering the upcoming winter season 2017 for charter flights out of Chicago Rockford International Airport (IATA:RFD) to Mexico and the Caribbean between December 2016 and April 2017.
The two contracts have a total value of approximately NOK120 million (USD14.2 million) and include more than 600 flights.
Under the terms of the agreement, Norwegian will base three Boeing 737-800 aircraft between Chicago Rockford and Milwaukee General Mitchell airports.
