Facts (Overview)

BER – Most modern airport in Europe

On 17 March 2013 the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport will be open. The airport will be the new entrance to one of the most exciting cities in the world. Furthermore it will provide the capacity needed for sustained qualitative and quantitative growth. Thanks to its central location, all major European destinations are within easy reach. With BER Airport, the new East-West hub, we aim to make the region one of Europe´s top ten aviation locations.

Until the opening of Europe’s most modern airport (BER Berlin Brandenburg Airport), Germany’s largest city and capital area is served by two airports. Berlin-Tegel (TXL) and Berlin-Schönefeld (SXF).
