Athens to Athens of the North Jets Off In Winter
The Aegean Airlines service from Athens International Airport to Edinburgh Airport that launched in June 2017 to initially operate for the summer season has been extended into the winter due to its great success.
Flight Details
The service will continue to operate twice weekly, on Thursdays and Sundays until the 7th of January and strengthens the connectivity between Athens and Edinburgh, often nicknamed ‘Athens of the North’. This flight to Athens not only enables passengers to easily access Athens, it also provides the quickest access to Greek islands like Mykonos and Santorini, which are currently unserved from Scotland.
The extension of this route into the winter season plays a continuing role in strengthening connectivity and tourism opportunities for Scotland and Greece.
