Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport Investment Development and Operation Inc. (ISG), the company founded in partnership by Limak Holding (LIMAK), GMR Infrastructure Limited (GMR), and Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB), has 22 years’ operation rights, as of May 1st of 2008, of Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, including the management of the terminal buildings, car park, cargo and aircraft refuelling operations, the airport hotel and CIP facilities. In addition to the €1.932 billion paid for the operational rights, ISG invested further around €500 million to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen. The new terminal building supports the airport’s rapid growth and brings the annual passenger capacity to 25 million, which was built in a modern design with international norms and standards on 31 October 2009. ISG has been officially the world's fastest growing airport in 2009 and 2010 with 53% and 70% passenger increase.
