Reno-Tahoe International Airport and Squaw Valley to Host Boyd Group's 21st Annual International Aviation Forecast Summit

More than 600 aviation executives from around the world will enjoy a conference of Olympic proportions when the Boyd Group’s 21st Annual International Aviation Forecast Summit comes to Reno-Tahoe International Airport and Squaw Valley, California Sept. 18 - 20, 2016.

Boyd Group International, a leading aviation research, forecast and consulting firm, is bringing their prestigious conference to new heights at historic and picturesque Squaw Valley, the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics. The conference hosts are Reno-Tahoe International Airport, The Resort at Squaw Creek and Squaw Valley Ski Holdings.

Summit attendees will also have the opportunity to arrive early and enjoy special accommodations at the world famous National Championship Air Races in Reno. From high-speed fun in Reno to the serenity of California’s Sierra Mountains and the shimmering blue water of Lake Tahoe, this year’s summit will have something for everyone.

“For over two decades, the Summit has pushed the envelope of futurist aviation planning,” said Michael Boyd, president of the Colorado-based consulting firm. “So the choice of Reno-Tahoe and Squaw Valley - a world class destination with an Olympic tradition – is the perfect venue for this event.”

The International Aviation Forecast Summit will bring industry leaders from across the globe to confer and discuss the new dynamics that will shape the future. “The global nature of Reno-Tahoe and Squaw Valley will make this 21st year of the Summit one that will set new standards in aviation futurist planning,” Boyd added. “We are honored to be here.”

“Reno-Tahoe International, the Gateway to Lake Tahoe, is honored to host the most influential air service and aviation conference in the world,” Marily Mora, President/CEO of Reno-Tahoe International Airport, said. “From Air Races, to an Olympic venue and the breath-taking beauty of Lake Tahoe, we are planning a Boyd Summit that will be unforgettable, informative and fun.”
