Facts (Overview)

Rzeszow-Jasionka Airport is the gateway for the Podkarpackie region in South Eastern Poland which is home to the expanding 'Aviation Valley', the biggest aerospace industry cluster in this part of Europe. The airport serves a catchment of over 2.1 million people and due to its location can potentially attract passengers from neighbouring Ukraine and Slovakia.

2009 was the airport's most successful year to date, traffic increased by 18,5%, new European services were launched and handling capacity was doubled thanks to terminal expansion. In first half of year 2010 the upward trend was confirmed resulting in +20% growth of pax traffic.

In mid 2010 a few new investments have been launched, where most important are building of new aprons (for ca. 20 C-class A/Cs) and new passenger terminal with capacity up to 1400 pax/h.
