On Monday, 18 September 2017, Wizzair launched its next connection from Warsaw. The latest route of the Hungarian low cost carrier connects the capital of Poland with the capital of Lithuania - Vilnius.

Flights take place 4 times a week - Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The plane departs from Warsaw at 7.00 am, returns at 9.40 am.

"We are delighted to expand our network of connections. It gives the passengers a broader and better chance of choosing the direction they want to go to," says Hubert Wojciechowski, PR and Marketing Director of Chopin Airport. "In the summer season, our airport handles a total of 119 regular flights, offered by 35 carriers."

Wizzair is the second airline operating on this route, the first one was the Polish national carrier – LOT Polish Airlines.
