LUBLIN FROM BRUSSELS SOUTH CHARLEROI AIRPORT

Wizz Air, the biggest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, will be launching a new route to Poland from BSCA on 14 September. Flights will be available to Lublin, the capital of Lublin Voivodeship, twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. This means that it will now be possible to fly directly from Belgium to Lublin.

This will be the third Polish city that Wizz Air flies to from Brussels South Charleroi Airport, taking the number of destinations available with the airline from BSCA to 10: Budapest, Bucharest, Cluj, Gdansk, Ljubljana, Skopje, Sofia, Timisoara, Warsaw and Lublin. Tickets for flights to Lublin are now available on the website, http://www.wizzair.com, from €9,99 (each way).

Jean-Jacques Cloquet, BSCA’s CEO, is keen to congratulate the airline for its continuous growth over the last 10 years (two new destinations announced in 2015) and to learn about the latest development for BSCA: “Wizz Air’s expansion is impressive, and we appreciate the chance to work with this airline. The launch of the new line between Charleroi and Lublin is a bonus for BSCA, recently voted third best low-cost airport (a fast, straightforward airport offering passengers excellent services).  There are nearly 160 destinations available from BSCA, so something for everyone.”

Daniel De Carvalho, head of Corporate Communications at Wizz Air, says: “We are thrilled to announce our 10th route from Brussels Charleroi. We hope that the Lublin connection will be welcomed by our Belgian customers, as they will be able to discover the beautiful architecture and cultural heritage of this wonderful city. With fares from just EUR 9.99 there is no better reason to book the seats right away.”
