Aeroports de Catalunya is a public company, promoted by the Catalan government and attached to the Ministry of Town and Country Planning and Public Works. It manages airports, airfields or heliports which form part of the company or of the Catalan government.
This company aims to be the leader in aviation management in Catalonia. It aims to consolidate a new role model of airport management, working in favour of an effective commercial policy and promoting the existing facilities and the future airports. The company works to maintain and enhance a more complete aerodrome network and preserve a heliport network with all the possible services.
Aeroports de Catalunya aims to promote the development of air transport in Catalonia, giving spcial attention to Reus, Girona and Lleida airports. Therefore, Aeroports de Catalunya works together with the institutions of the territory in the marketing of the Catalan airports.
