The new Enfidha-Hammamet Airport (NBE) is the second airport operated by TAV Airports in Tunisia with Monastir (MIR). Two airports are located within 80 km of each other. TAV is currently facilitating the airlines' move from Monastir to Enfidha, which offers various advantages to both passengers and airlines. Enfidha Airport has an initial capacity of 7 million passengers which could be increased to 22 million in the future. The airport handled half a million passengers in 2010, which was its first year of operations.
