Visa Information

The visa invitation letter request process is now open for Routes Africa 2016.

You won’t need a visa if you’re staying for less than three months and you have nationality from one of the following countries: Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Chipre, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, Slovakia, Slovenia, United States, Estonia, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Lithonia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Nicaragua, Norway, New Zealand, Panama, Paraguay, Poland, Czech Republic, Korea, Romania, San Marino, Santa Sede, Singapur, Switzerland, Uruguay, Venezuela, Hong Kong, Macao and ANY country that belongs to the European Union.

Anyone else will need to apply for a Stay-Visa. This document should be issued in the Spanish Embassy on the delegate’s country of origin.

All travellers will need a passport valid for at least 90 days following your departure date from Spain. Spain requires that you have adequate un-used pages in your passport, allowing for any necessary stamps upon arrival and departure. We recommend that you have at least two free pages in Visas section of your passport before any international travel.

Visa Invitation Letter

In addition to the visa application form, relevant fees and photos may be required; embassies may also require a letter of invitation from the inviting company. Should you require such document from our host Tenerife Tourism Corporation in the Canary Islands, please complete the electronic request form in full ensuring accuracy throughout.

Most embassies and consulates accept a scanned copy of the invitation letter and therefore Tenerife Tourism Corporation will issue the letters to applicants via email as an attachment. If your embassy or consulate does not accept an electronic copy, please select an alternative format in the ‘Format Options’ section of the request form.
