Adelaide, Australia, 19 April 2010

Global route development experts ASM announced another new appointment to the company at the 8th Routes Asia in Adelaide yesterday.  Janice Antonson, most recently Vice President of Marketing and Communications with the Nassau Airport Development company in the Bahamas (YVRAS) and immediate past Chairman of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), will take up her new role as a Vice President with immediate effect.

The expertise she brings with her will further bolster the skill set of the global route development experts, helping the company in their bid to offer the best in expertise to their clients.

"Over the past 15 years I have been actively involved in the world of aviation and tourism in both the Caribbean and the Pacific Asia region, and I am looking forward to joining ASM and working with their team of professionals," said Janice. "Now, more than ever, it is important to combine our diverse experience in this very competitive industry and deliver a first rate product to our clients. With an airport background combined with experience in tourism marketing worldwide, I look forward to the opportunities ahead."

"ASM are renowned for their passionate dedication to aviation and to assisting their clients in achieving their ambitions. It is an honour to be joining such an organisation."

About ASM

  • Airport Strategy & Marketing Ltd (ASM) was founded in 1993 and was the first management consulting company specializing in the field of route development for airports. See www.asm-global.com
  • ASM works exclusively for airports, helping them expand their route networks and bring economic development to their surrounding regions. The results that have been achieved support ASM's claim to be the world leader in its field.

This has enabled ASM to develop a track record without equal in delivering new routes for airports across all airline sectors.
