Asia/Pacific airlines take aim at UK policy

News from ATW's Eco-Aviation Today: The Assn. of Asia Pacific Airlines, which represents 17 major airlines in Asia, including Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific Airways, has lashed out at the UK government for its punitive taxation of air travel in the form of the air passenger duty (APD), which was initially touted by the UK as an environmental measure.
