EasyJet expects to report higher pre-tax profit for FY 2011

EasyJet on Thursday raised its earnings guidance for its fiscal year ending Sept. 30 and said it now expects to post a profit before tax of between £240 million ($376 million) and £250 million, citing a “robust” commercial performance across its network and cost-control measures.
