China, Russia unite to oppose EU ETS; global approach needed to reduce aviation emissions

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Transport have jointly denounced the European Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS), saying it violates sovereignty and is a breach of the Chicago Convention.
