<b>JetBlue 2011 income down 11.3%; 4Q sets record income of $23 million</b>
In the Daily News article (Jan. 27) reporting JetBlue’s full-year financials, we did not make clear the operating profit.
JetBlue’s full-year revenue dipped 3.7% to $322 million while expenses jumped 21.4% to $4.18 billion. Operating profit was $4.5 billion, up 19.2% from a $3.78 billion operating profit in 2010. We regret the error and any confusion it may have caused.
