ROUTES EUROPE: Shortlist Confirmed for Airport Marketing Awards

At tonight’s gala dinner, one airport will celebrate being crowned winner of this year’s European regional heat of the Routes Airport Marketing Awards.  The shortlist is split into four sub regional categories: Scandinavia and the Baltics, Western Europe, Mediterranean & Southern Europe and finally Central & Eastern Europe and the candidates are listed below…

Copenhagen Airport (Denmark)
Helsinki Airport (Finland)
Riga International Airport (Latvia)
Stockholm Arlanda Airport (Sweden)

Western Europe
Amsterdam Airport (The Netherlands)
Brussels Airport (Belgium)
Hamburg Airport (Germany)
Munich Airport (Germany)
Zurich Airport (Switzerland)

Mediterranean & Southern Europe
Antalya Airport (Turkey)
Athens International Airport (Greece)
Barcelona – Aeropuerto de Barcelona (Spain)
Istanbul Ataturk Airport (Turkey)
Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen International Airport (Turkey)

Central & Eastern Europe
Airports of Montenegro (Montenegro)
Budapest Airport (Hungary)
Skopje Alexander the Great Airport (Macedonia)
Prague Airport (Czech Republic)
Warsaw Chopin Airport (Poland)

The overall winner will then be automatically shortlisted for the World Awards held later in the year at World Routes in Berlin, alongside previous regional winners Dallas/Fort Worth International and Abu Dhabi International Airport.
