ROUTES EUROPE: Sky Airlines Expands to Kayseri

Sky Airlines has expanded its recently launched Turkish operations with new scheduled routes to the Central Anatolian province of Kayseri.  The carrier is offering twice weekly flights from both Istanbul and Antalya.  It currently has connections between Antalya, Istanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Diyarbakır, Van and Trabzon.

Commenting on the new flights, Tahir Görgülü, Chief Executive of Kayı Group, the parent company of Sky Airlines, said Kayseri was a city of cultural and historical wealth and its proximity to the world-renowned Cappadocia region further increased its attraction.  “We are evaluating the tourism potential of the region carefully and want to contribute to Turkish domestic tourism by creating dynamism in the region,” he added.
