airberlin Offers Curacao Link from Dusseldorf

German carrier airberlin is to introduce a weekly flight to the Caribbean island of Curaçao from its Dusseldorf base this November, subject to Government approval.  The new link to Hato International Airport on the Dutch territory is due to launch on November 15 and will be the only non-stop scheduled link from Germany.  Currently KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Martinair and charter provider, Arkefly, offer services from Amsterdam, while Blue Panorama Airlines has flights from Milan Malpensa.
