BA Launches New Subsidiary BA Ltd

British Airways on Monday 11JUN12 introduced new subsidiary, British Airways Ltd (BA Ltd), which will assume BA's operation on London City - New York JFK route.
This 11 weekly 32-seater Airbus A318 aircraft operation previously operating under British Airways Plc. Passengers will not notice any significant changes when it comes to ground and onboard service. The US Department of Transportation on Monday approved BA's application for the new subsidiary, as well as allowing oneWorld member American Airlines and IBERIA continuing to display their "AA" and "IB" code on BA Ltd Operational routes.
