Routes Europe Airline List Continues to Grow

The attendee list for Routes Europe is now available Routesonline.com and with 5 months to go until the event opens in Budapest there are already 50 carriers registered to attend.  Now in its 8th year, Routes Europe is the only network planning forum for the entire European region and the 2013 event, hosted by Budapest Airport, will take place 12-14 May.

Network Planners and other key decision makers from a wide range of carriers will descend on the beautiful historic capital of Hungary to discuss the future of European air service development.  This annual event, which is the largest of its kind in the region, has seen year on year growth and 150 airline delegates who are responsible for making decisions on both new and existing routes are expected to attend in 2013.

Registrations have already been received from a variety of airlines with low-cost, charter, regional and flag carriers all in attendance.  Early indications show the Low Cost sector will be well represented with registrations confirmed from Wizz Air, Norwegian, easyJet, and Vueling.  Most recently, fast growing carrier Volotea has confirmed a delegation led by their Chief Strategy Officer will also attend Routes Europe.

We will also see a strong regional presence in Budapest with airlines such as Air Baltic, Air Dolomiti, British Airways London City, EuroLOT, CityJet and SkyWork Airlines having already confirmed their attendance.  In addition many full service carriers have also registered for Routes Europe in 2013 including Lufthansa, Alitalia, CSA-Czech Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Air Berlin and out of region carriers such as Emirates, Etihad, American Airlines and Air Transat.

The complete and up to date list of attending airlines, which is expected to grow significantly over the coming weeks, can be found here.

In addition to the traditional one-to-one meetings airport delegates attending Routes Europe in 2013 will have the opportunity to arrange ‘city pair’ meetings with other airports at no additional cost.  All kinds of meeting requests can now be made online via the new and improved online meeting requests system which made its debut earlier this year for World Routes in Abu Dhabi.

Many airports and tourism authorities from the European region and beyond have also already registered to attend the 2013 event such as; Avignon – Provence Airport, Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, Aeroports de Lyon, North Iceland Marketing Office, Prague Airport, Edmonton International Airport, Zurich Airport, Munich Airport and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

This unrivalled event, which offers airports the chance to meet with airline planners from an anticipated 100 airlines, will also provide all attendees with an opportunity to prepare for World Routes which will take place later in the year in Las Vegas.
