EGYPTAIR S13 Operation Changes as of 18FEB13

As per 18FEB13 GDS timetable and inventory display, EGYPTAIR plans several service increases in Summer 2013 season, effective 01JUN13. Selected routes will see adjustment from 31MAR13, which are specified individually. Additional changes remain possible.

Cairo – Accra – Abidjan
*Abidjan service resumption with daily flight via Accra, reservation not available (Previously operated until Nov 2004)
*Accra overall service to be increased from 4 weekly (Day x257) to daily, new flights not open for reservation

Cairo – Bahrain Airbus A320 to operate on daily basis once again, replaces Embraer E170
Cairo – Brussels eff 27JUN13 Service increases from 6 weekly (Day x3) to daily, 737-800 operating
Cairo – Damascus Planned service resumption from 01APR13 wit 11 weekly flights. Reservation is not available and further postponement remain possible
Cairo – Doha Service increases from 10 to 14 weekly. Boeing 777-300ER operates 4 of 7 weekly MS935/936 flight
Cairo – Frankfurt Airbus A330-200 operating in Summer 2013 season, replacing 737-800 in S12
Cairo – Jeddah Planned service increase during the month of July 2013, from 6 to 11 daily. However, only 5 daily flights are open for reservation
Cairo – Kano Planned service increases from 5 weekly (Day x15 from CAI) to 6 weekly (Day x1 from CAI from 31MAR13), however new flight is not open for reservation
Cairo – Madrid Planned service increase from daily to 8 weekly (Extra flight on Day 1) from 01APR13, however reservation is not open
Cairo – Tunis Airbus A321 replaces A320, daily operation

Previously reported changes:
Cairo – Abha Service increases from 5 weekly (Day x67) to daily
Cairo – Athens Service increases from 10 to 14 weekly
Cairo – Dar es Salaam – Harare Service resumption to Harare after 9 years service suspension, which will operate via Dar es Salaam, 4 times a week
Cairo – Gassim Planned New Daily service with A320 aircraft, reservation remains unavailable
Cairo – Guangzhou Boeing 777-300ER aircraft operates for entire Summer 2013 season, 5 weekly flights
Cairo – Manchester Service resumes with 5 weekly nonstop service on board Boeing 737-800 (Airline Route previously did not include the word “resumption”, which MS last operated MAN service in March 2002)
Cairo – Rome Service increases from 11 to 14 weekly from 31MAR13
Cairo – Tokyo Narita Boeing 777-200ER replaces -300ER from 03MAY13, 3 weekly flights
Cairo – Toronto NEW 4 weekly 777-300ER service
Alexandria/Borg el Arab – Jeddah Planned service increase from 11 to 14 weekly, new flights not available for reservation
Alexandria/Borg el Arab – Madinah Service increases from 3 to 4 weekly
Sharm el Sheikh – Jeddah eff 10JUN13 Service increases from 2 to 5 weekly (Service suspended from 09JUL13 to 08AUG13)
