ROUTES AMERICAS: Delegates Climb to New Heights

Delegates at this year’s Routes Americas were able to take advantage of two special tours to the El Boquerón National Park (Parque Nacional El Boquerón) ahead of the formal opening of the event on February 24, 2014. The park is located on top of the San Salvador Volcano at an altitude of 5,905 feet (1800 meters) and its main attraction is a crater 5 kilometers in diameter and 558 meters deep. In addition, there is a small crater within the crater named ‘Boqueroncito’, or little Boquerón.

Our friends at anna.aero have provided us with the following images from the excursion. Look out for there special 'Arrivals' and 'Departures' show publications in San Salvador, the latter of which will be available latwer today and will include further images from the tour.
