And Relax…further networking opportunities

World Routes offers unlimited opportunities for networking and making the right connections for your business whether in the formal Face-to-Face Meetings or within the Networking Village at one of the many exhibition stands. However, further opportunities to meet and do business in a more informal relaxed setting can also be found at one of the many social events taking place as part of the programme.

Here we outline some of the highlights of the programme:

Saturday Reception

Taking place at the Hyatt Regency Chicago on 20th September this is a chance to say hello to industry friends and catch up or begin making those new contact before the meetings begin!

Welcome Reception

Following the World Routes Strategy Summit and first full day of business meetings the Welcome Reception will take place on Sunday 21st September and allow delegate to experience the tastes and sounds of the city while enjoying one of the leading cultural attractions – the world-renowned Art Institute of Chicago. The reception will provide an opportunity to stroll through the impressionist gallery, one of the world’s largest and most significant collections, and enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks and small plates amongst an array of musical entertainment. Guests can also take advantage of the on-site executive concierge service that can help book and suggest restaurant reservations, leisure activities, theater tickets, shopping and more.

Networking Evening

Taking place at the Chicago Field Museum of Natural History on Monday 22nd September the Chicago Networking Evening is an ideal opportunity to continue conversations from earlier in the day or make further connections that you missed earlier. Take the time to explore all the museum has to offer and visit with Sue, the most complete and best-preserved Tyrannosaurus Rex fossil yet discovered. The evening will also include the World Routes Marketing Awards Ceremony before delegates head outside to the terrace for a magnificent view of Chicago’s skyline. Why not grab a drink and a seat in the outdoor lounge area and enjoy the evening under the stars?

Farewell Reception

Once the formal meetings come to a close on Tuesday 23rd relax with a drink, say goodbye to contacts old and new and look forward to World Routes 2015 Durban at the World Routes Farewell Reception hosted by the Province of KwaZulu-Natal.
