WORLD ROUTES: Airfield Operations at O’Hare – Up Close with the Airliners!

Delegates at this year’s World Routes will get the chance to get up close to the airlines at this year’s event thanks to a tour programme that will afford them the opportunity to go airside at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport on Saturday, ahead of the event, and Wednesday after it concludes.

The tour will highlight recent infrastructure works at the hub airport and future activities from the O'Hare Modernization Program, one of the largest civil infrastructure projects in the nation. Delegates will also have the opportunity to tour the recently transformed International Terminal 5 building.

The HUB joined a highly informative special media preview tour on Friday afternoon hosted by Frank Grimaldi Jr, assistant commissioner, Chicago Department of Aviation and David Robbins, projects administrator, O’Hare Modernization Program to see just what is in store for delegates.

Here are some images from our Facebook page of the tour which clearly highlight the diverse range of airline operations at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport...
