ANALYSIS: What Were the Busiest Destinations From Dubai in the Emirates Network in 2014?

With last week’s announcement from Emirates Airline on the further deployment of its expanding Airbus A380 fleet, including its new more densely configured two-class arrangement; Routesonline has investigated what are the main destinations in the airline’s global network, based on estimated passenger demand.

Using data from Sabre Airport Data Intelligence we highlight the busiest points in the Emirates network from Dubai during 2014 based on estimated O&D demand. The important role of the UK in the wider Emirates network is clear to see with three destinations among the top ten points on its Dubai network, including London Heathrow as the most popular destination from and via Dubai International Airport.
