Jazeera makes half yearly loss

Kuwaiti low-cost carrier Jazeera Airways has reported a KD2.2 million ($7.7 million) loss for the first half of 2009.
The carrier has impacted on revenues from its transition from dual- to single-hub operations, following its withdrawal from Dubai.
Jazeera currently operates 10 Airbus A320s and expects 30 more to be delivered by 2014, the first of which should arrive in January 2010.
