Star Alliance carrier to add CIS point.
Lufthansa adds Tashkent.

Lufthansa has annouced that it is to relaunch services to the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent.
The Star Alliance carrier will operate the route from its Munich hub on a 3x weekly basis operated with a Privatair B737-800 aircraft. There is currently no scheduled service between the two city pairs, however Uzbekistan Airways does operate a 3x weekly service between Tashkent and Frankfurt.
