Turkish Drops First Class to Hong Kong

TURKISH AIRLINES (THY) will drop its First Class service on the Istanbul - Hong Kong route this summer as it replaces leased aircraft with brand new equipment. THY currently offers five flights every week to the Asian city but will add a sixth frequency from 27MAR11. As further Boeing 777-300ERs arrive directly from the US manuafcturer it will gradually replace older aircraft currently flying the route. According to a tentative schedule it will have removed all the aircraft with First Class cabins by 26SEP11.
