Flybe steps in to save Cornwall route
Posted 27/07/2011
Flybe has stepped in to save the Newquay to Manchester route which is being dropped by Air Southwest at the end of September.
Flybe will start a four-times-a-week service on October 30 with fares from £29.99 one way including taxes and charges.
Air Southwest announced earlier this month that it would have to stop flying due to the closure of Plymouth Airport at the end of this year.
It had hoped to continue operations until the airport’s closure but said due to lack of demand it was not financially feasible to stay in business.
