Female passenger who 'groped steward' given bail

A female passenger accused of sexually assaulting a male steward on a Virgin Atlantic flight has been granted unconditional bail.
Katherine Goldberg of west London will re-appear at Uxbridge Magistrates Court on September 22.
The court heard that Goldberg, aged 25, had drunk half a litre of whisky when she grabbed the steward in the crotch on a flight from South Africa to London Heathrow. She also demanded to have sex with him.
Goldberg's lawyer asked that although the charge against her was of a serious nature she be given a caution and the case was adjourned for a week to allow him to make representations to the Crown on her behalf.
