Hong Kong Airlines appoints GM for UK

Hong Kong Airlines has appointed Gerard Clarke as general manager UK.

Clarke will oversee the launch of the airline’s daily all Club Class service between London and Hong Kong which starts on March 8.

He was previously director at the UK’s airline representation company Aviareps plc and also spent eight years working at the headquarters of Dubai-based Emirates Airlines.

Hong Kong Airlines’ new service will depart daily from London Gatwick at 21:30.

It will be operated with a dedicated fleet of three new Airbus A330-200s featuring 116 seats in two cabins - ‘Club Premier’ and ‘Club Classic’.
